These 16 hour workshops are designed for those interested in either teaching Childbirth Education or becoming a Birth Doula to expectant parents in the private or hospital setting.

The workshop is one critical element in becoming a certified ICEA ( International Childbirth Education Association) See program requirements.

However, those already providing services to expectant families (Midwives, Doulas, Labor & Delivery nurses, student nurses) can gain additional skills to enhance their current practice. Experienced Childbirth Educators can re-energize and refresh their practice with this workshop.

These are  excellent courses for nursing students who are going into Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Obstetrics as this will give added value to your resume as you seek employment in area hospitals, birth centers, or doctor offices.

The workshop provides 16 CE toward ICEA certification and is approved for 16 nursing CE.  There are no pre-requisites to attend.
